Donald "Don" Ray Adkison of Cleveland, Texas was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 31, 2016. Don was born January 23, 1947 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Herman and Ollie Inez Adkison both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his brothers, Clyde Adkison, Larry Paul Adkison and Olan Adkison; sisters, Cecil L. Spurlock, Inez Fisher and Deloris A. Gates. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Suzie Adkison; two children, Ricky Adkison and wife Terry Lynn, DeAnna Jordan and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Brittany Adkison, Zachary Adkison, Garrett Hawthorne, Breanna Jordan, Annalyse Jordan, and Trini Jordan; great grandchild, Tyler Hawthorne. Services for Don were held at The Sanctuary, Friday August 5, 2016, interment followed at Morgan Cemetery. All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
