Donald Hubert Johnson, age 88 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. He was born August 1, 1926 in Daisetta, Texas to parents William Perkins Johnson Sr. and Gladys Holland who preceded him in death along with his wife, Viola Furguson; and brother, W.P. Johnson Jr.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Cook and husband Danny, and Connie Tanner and husband Bill; grandchildren, Stacey Southwell and husband Jared, Grant Cook and wife Kay, Greg Tanner and wife Brandy, Lori Smith and husband Josh, and Marc Tanner and wife Klancy; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, and Rylie Southwell, Carson, Caleb, Kirsten and Connor Cook, Brandon and Avery Smith, Erik and Julia Huffman, and Starlyn Tanner; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, Texas.
