Donald Lemon Obituary

Donald Wayne Lemon, 80, passed away at home on January 15, 2024, in Plantersville, Texas.

Don is survived by wife, Billie Lemon; daughter, Emily Priesmeyer and husband, Jason Priesmeyer; daughter, Sarah Hart; son, Kyle Lemon and wife, Cendra Lemon; granddaughter, Caroline Funderburg and husband, Clay Funderburg; granddaughter, Natalie Blanchard and husband, Jordan Blanchard; granddaughter, Madeleine Hart; granddaughter, Sophie Priesmeyer; grandson, Glenn Lemon; grandson, Morgan Lemon; sister, Verlyn Bounds; and niece, Janice Thomas.

Don was preceded in death by father, Glenn Lemon; and mother, Rosa Lemon.

Don Lemon served on many different organizations throughout his lifetime, including, Navasota ISD school board, numerous volunteer positions at Montgomery United Methodist Church, Grimes County Appraisal Review Board, and a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge.

After 30 years with State Farm Insurance, Don retired and enjoyed raising cattle and lending a helping hand to all of his neighbors. Everyone who knew him has a story to tell about how he helped them and served his community.

The service for Donald Lemon will be held on Friday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m., at Montgomery United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Montgomery United Methodist Church Food Pantry, your church, or organization of your choice.
