Dorothy Ann Barlow

1927 - 2022

On Monday January 3, 2022 Dorothy Ann Barlow, loving mother grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 94 after a long life that was well lived. Dorothy was born on September 27, 1927 in Houston, TX. She is survived by her children Sandra Jackman (husband David Jackman) and Rick Shann (wife Doreen Shann), 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband C.D. (Tommie) Barlow, parents Richard and Katherine Miller, siblings Richard Miller Jr., Ed Miller, and Lottie Adair (Miller). Dorothy loved making memories with friends and family and giving back to her community. She taught Sunday School for many years, was a square dance caller, and volunteered Conroe Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake, TX on Friday January 7, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. Dorothy will be laid to rest at the South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX on Monday January 10, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Please sign the guestbook at www.doeppenschmidtfuneralhome.com
