Douglas Young Obituary
Douglas Wayne Young, 71, of Buna, Texas passed away January 2, 2017 at his home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, Peebles Cemetery near Goodrich, Texas under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
Born Sept. 16, 1945 in Shepherd, Texas, he had lived in Buna 50 years and was a retired iron worker for Local 195.
Survivors include his children, Cheryl & John Myers of Buna, Chris & David Hicks of Jillette, WY, Paul Young of Columbus, NE, and Floyd & Dana Young of Madison, IN; 2 brothers, Preston Young of Shepherd and Bud Young of Goodrich; 11grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad and mom were kind to a couple of newlyweds many years ago in Buna. They gave us a place to stay and shared their friendship with us. It meant alot and we will always appreciate their generosity. God bless each of you.
