Reverend Doyle Clinton Evans Sr., born April 29, 1945 to Roy and Linnie Smith Evans in Cleveland, Texas, went to be with his Lord on April 25, 2017 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 71 years.
He was an ordained minister of The South Texas District Assemblies of God for many years before he retired.
Doyle's loving family includes; his wife, Myrtle Evans; sons, Doyle "Bubba" Evans Jr., & wife, Jennifer, Mike Evans & wife, Shannon; daughters, Cindy Lee, Debbie Kamp & husband, David; brother, Bob Franklin, & wife, Pat; sisters, Frances Gobert & husband, Tommy, Jeannie Armitage & husband, Henry, Betty Bell; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and several other relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Linnie Franklin and father, Roy Evans Sr.; two brothers, Roy Evans Jr., Linden (Punkin) Franklin; one sister, Josephine Bell; son-in-law, Richard (Ricky) D Harrison.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. to service at the Bethel Assembly of God, 301 Hickory St, Cleveland, Texas with the Celebration of Doyle's life beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Charles Burton and Pastor A.V. Walters will be officiating. Interment to follow at the Oak Shade Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas.
