Fatima Llado Obituary

Fatima "Tima" Marie Sulony Llado, 83, peacefully passed from this world on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her home in Conroe, TX.

She is survived by her daughters; Ingrid Pearson, Santa Stone, Sabrina Frazier, her son; Warren Llado, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Tima was born in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Ngah and Eleanora Sulony. She was the oldest of 7 children and "Sis" played a significant role in raising her younger siblings. At the age of 19, she set out to begin a journey of her own. Despite the odds, she was blessed with 4 children who were the focus of her life. Tima was a counselor, confidante, and supporter to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, garden, paint, and decorate her home. Her favorite outing was a trip to Wal-Mart! Becoming a Texan led to her love of country music ... namely George Strait. One of the highlights of her life was getting a kiss from George in 1982 at Huntsville City Limits!

At the age of 30, Tima became a cosmetologist. This was her first, and only, job since the birth of her children. She was a skilled cosmetologist, and in 1978 she became the proud owner of Expressions, the Ultimate Hair Company in Conroe where she continued to "do hair" until she was 83 years old! Tima did not have "clients," she had friends. When you sat in her chair, she gave so much more than just a "new do". She became a listening ear when needed and a political debater.

Tima was a devout Catholic. She attended Sacred Heart Church and was a member of Catholic Daughters.

A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The mass will be preceded by the Rosary at 9:15 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Conroe, Texas.
