Genevieve Ann Pryde

1931 - 2021

Jeanne Pryde passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2021, She was born February 19, 1931, the daughter of Rose (Balsamo) and Anton Rizzo of La Salle IL. Jeanne graduated from La Salle-Peru High School in 1949. Jeanne left the cold of Illinois and settled in San Diego, CA and worked in a CPA firm. It was there she met her future husband, Ronald Pryde who was in the Navy at the time, and himself a former resident of neighboring Oglesby, IL. They were married in 1957 and spent 58 years together until Ron's passing in 2016. Ron and Jeanne relocated to Conroe, TX in 2002 to be closer to surviving son, Randy Pryde. Jeanne is preceded in death by her two older sisters, Fran and Connie. She is survived by her younger brothers Sal and Tony Rizzo of North Central, IL. Additionally, brother and sister in-laws Gerry Pryde and wife Marlene of San Diego, and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being coordinated with Forest Park Funeral Home, The Woodlands, TX. A funeral mass in her honor, is being coordinated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N Frazier St, Conroe, Texas 77301.
