On Wednesday August 15, 2018, Glinda Jackson went to be with the Lord at the age of 65, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her fight she never gave up hope or her faith in God's promises.
Glinda was born on February 11, 1953 in Baytown, TX. to Sidney & Emma Williams.
On August 8, 1972, she married Bruce Jackson, the love of her life and soul mate. They were married 46 years and raised two children, Todd and Christen.
Glinda loved the sunshine, blooming flowers, birds chirping, finding sea shells on the beach & laughs of children, especially from her grandchildren. She loved so many other things God created, but most of all she loved her family. She had an infectious smile, a very compassionate spirit; she was patient, kind and loved life. She kept her strong faith in God through it all; we know her faith carried her straight to Heaven. She was incredibly loved by us, but also by God.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce Jackson. Her son Todd and wife Hannah Jackson, grandsons Parker & Lincoln. Her daughter Christen and husband Derek Thibodeaux, granddaughter's Whitney, Emma & Ella. Also survived by siblings Thomas & Ted Williams, Pam Morvant & Cindy Smith, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Jerri Lynn. Her time on earth is through but we know she is dancing in heaven and finally healed, she will be dearly missed but her memories and love of life will carry on.
