Horace Strickland Obituary
Horace Strickland, age 85 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was born October 18, 1932 in Tarkington, Texas to parents Andrew and Estelle Strickland who preceded him in death along with his wife, Maudie Strickland.
Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia White and husband Norman, Tina Sartor and husband Danny, and Angela Strickland; grandchildren, Devin Kelley, Brian Kelley, Rachel Parish, Katie Parish, Leah Kelley, Kyle Parish, Marc Michael Pouhe, Angelina Pouhe and Eric Pouhe; great-grandchild, Jackson Kelley; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at, Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Tarkington Prairie Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.

Hello. Am sad to see that Horace passed away. My sincere condolences to the family. My name is Steve Brady and am the grandson of Grace Strickland Brady. I met Horace in my youth on several occasions. For some reason, I just looked him up on a Google search and saw that he just passed. Makes me sad as would have liked to speak with him. My grandmother held Horace in high regard and again, my condolances to your family. Steve
