James Robert Sydow, 79, of Kingwood went to be with his Lord Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born Sunday, December 11, 1938 in Madison, WI. James is survived by his wife of 57 years Carole Hubert Sydow; children; Christina Sydow Jordan and husband John, Robin Sydow McLeod and husband Tom, Angela Sydow Crabb and husband Jay; grandchildren, Hannah, Stephanie, Claire, Ethan, Ben; siblings, Dave Sydow, Bill Sydow, Janet Spellings, Bob Sydow, Barbara Paulick; and many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Helen Sydow; sister Joann Berg. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 30, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Houston, 5300 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77004. In lieu of flowers the Sydow family request memorial gifts be sent to FPC Missions Ministry, 5300 Main St, Houston, Texas 77004.

Oh my, I am just broken hearted to lose my friend, Jim Sydow. Carol, My condolences to you and the Sydow family. I miss Jim greatly. My heart hurts for you and the family. Come to Arkansas soon. Kay and I love you dearly.
