Jerry Grant Obituary
Jerry Wayne Grant was born in Hill County, TX on December 13, 1942 to his parents Perry D. Grant and Geneva (Diggs) Grant. He graduated from Deer Park High School and served in the Army. Jerry was the Maintenance Foreman in charge of the co-gen plant at Diamond/Oxy, Deer Park. He was a joy to be around and always had a smile or a funny face to make you laugh. Jerry enjoyed his land and he tried to grow just about everything on it.
Jerry was preceded in death by both parents, Perry and Geneva Grant; brothers, James Grant and Charles Grant; and sister, Nelda Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Linda Grant; a daughter, Heidi Roe and husband Steve; a son, Patrick Grant and wife Keira; grandchildren, Brandi O'Daniel and husband David, Matthew Grant, Michael Hogan, and Nicole Hogan; great grandchildren, Jakob O'Daniel and Britni O'Daniel; and brothers, Kenneth Grant and wife Peggy, Warren Grant, and wife Iva, and Perry Donald Grant and wife Iva; and sister-in-law, Patricia Grant.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Jerry to the Alzheimer's Association @ act.alz.org or to the Cooks Point Methodist Church, 4902 Presidential Corridor E, Caldwell, TX 77836.
