Kenneth Bowers Obituary

Kenneth Leslie Bowers Jr. (Ken) Procurement worker, Air Force Veteran, Coach, family man, best friend to many and stranger to none was taken on June 17,2021 due to underlying health problems. Ken was born in Fort Polk, Louisiana on June 11, 1947, to Julia Bell Bowers and Kenneth Leslie Bowers, Sr. Kenneth is survived by his wife Pamela Bowers. Kenneth is survived in death by his daughter and son-in-law Tiffanie Bowers-Saffold and Charlie Saffold and grandchildren Kaly Saffold, Madison Bowers, Brooklyn Saffold, and Tucker Saffold. Kenneth was a loving father and grandfather, and his happiest place was anywhere they were. Kenny was proceeded in death by his brother Gerald "Jerry" Bowers and is survived in death by sister Donna Mouton and husband Andrew, brothers Herbert Bowers and wife Sharon, John Bowers and wife Tomi-ko, and Mike Bowers and wife Tammy. Kenneth was enlisted into the military on October 19, 1965 and served in the Vietnam war before being honorably discharged 10 years later on October 10, 1975.
