Mary Nicklow, age 80 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Survivors include her husband, Quay Nicklow; sons, Tim Basye and wife Sherry Wagner, Michael Nicklow and wife Nancy; daughters, Gina Nicklow, Lisa Nicklow; daughter-in-law, Lisa Kay Nicklow; grandchildren, Brandon Basye, Jackson Du' Boise, Kenneth Wagner, Bayard Nicklow, Heather Wagner, William Ebarb, and George Paul Nicklow; numerous other relatives and friends.
Mary graduated from John Reagan High School in 1952 where she was drum major of the Reagan Red Coats. Mary was also an active member of the Picture - A - Month Club in Cleveland, Texas. She became interested in art while in high school and had studied under some of the best teachers in the state of Texas, she exhibited in eight different cities and with one exception she won a ribbon on her paintings.

Quay and Tim it has truly been a blessing to have been allowed to know and love your wife and mother. Mary is one of the most kind and tallented person I have ever met. I have learned alot from her over the years and she is the one person who I have been able to confide in during the last years since my own mother passed away. Mary I know that Pat-Pat and all of the rest of our family have welcomed her with open arms. Someday we will all be with her again. Gods will.

Mary made everyone feel loved when they were with her. Her spirit of joy and love literally filled the room. She will be missed by her families- birth and church but most of all by the community she loved. Prayers for her family and for us all as well.
