Patsy Yvonne Cheatham, "Sister Pat" 73, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was born on Thursday, December 3, 1942 in Edna, Texas to Lamar Slaughter and Lorene (Wainscott) Slaughter, both of whom have preceded her in death. Pat was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cheatham; children, Ray Cheatham, Roberta Griffith and Gwen McKee; brother, Carl Slaughter; sister, Marie Flanigan; grandson, Andre Nelson; daughter-in-law, Jennie Cheatham. Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, LaNita Jackson and husband Marty, Shannon Cheatham, Bill Cheatham and wife Ginger, Sue Guynes and husband Joe, Darlene Wakefield, John Cheatham, Wayne Cheatham and wife Barbara, Virginia Smith and husband Jack; grandchildren, Paige Dugas, Felicity Cheatham; Devyn Dugas, Karmyn Dugas and too many other wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Sister Pat was held at The Sanctuary on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services was at The Sanctuary on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interment for Pat immediately follow at Pace-Stancil MRG. Officiating Pastor Kevin Howard and Reverend Douglas Hollie. In Lieu of flowers, the family request sending a donation to the Pat Cheatham Memorial, in the Sanctuary Bookstore, Cleveland, Texas or Hope Cancer Retreat 26904 Brentwood Rd. Splendora, Texas 77372.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.

I have known Patsy for 65 yrs she was always a faithful church member She will always be missed. I will be praying for you family members. She is out of pain and heaven bound.
