Patrick Wayne Bradshaw, age 69 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was born July 10, 1947 in Alvin, Texas to parents Alvin J. "Buck" Bradshaw and Thelma Norene Hudspeth who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Mike Bradshaw, Alvin Bradshaw, Durwood Bradshaw, Jimmy Bradshaw, Darrell Bradshaw, and Teddy Wayne Lambright; sister, Corinne Christensen.
A proud veteran, who served in the United States Navy for four tours in Vietnam, Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He was an avid fan of classic country music, spending most evenings listening to old recordings of Red Foley, Roy Acuff, Little Jimmy Dickens and the like. His greatest love was for his children and grandchildren, of whom he couldn't be more proud. Patrick was deeply loved by all who had the good fortune to know him and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughters, Scooter Franklin and husband Jack, Julina Smith and fiancé David Chabert; brothers, Jeff Bradshaw, Charlie Nichols, Oran Lambright; sisters, Melva McGough, Terri "Georgie" Laird, Etna "Sam" Dunn, Cindy Gayle Tucker, Linda "Pee-Wee" Gibson; grandchildren, Megan Schneider and husband Logan, Shayne Jones, J.J. Weems, Tiffany Willis and husband Nick, Kelly Weems; great-grandchild, Haisley Schneider; numerous other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
