Phillip Miller Obituary

Phillip Eugene Miller, 82, was born in Chappell Hill Texas on July 12, 1938, to parents Theodore and Gertrude (Pawlak) Miller. He passed away peacefully at a private care facility on May 16, 2021 in Conroe Texas. Phillip was raised in Houston, Texas where he went to school at Jeff Davis High School. He met his wife Sandy at the Esquire Ball Room where they worked together. He retired from Flemings Foods after over twenty years of service. Phillip did not have many hobbies, but he loved taking care of his property when he was able, feeding the birds and squirrels and simply sitting on the back porch enjoying the sunshine with a cold Miller High Life.

Phillip is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sandra (Sandy); grandson, Tyler Miller, and his sister, Rita Anderson. He leaves behind his brother, Robert (Bobby) Miller and wife Pansy; sons, Rodger Miller and wife Susan and Michael Miller; adopted daughter, Sheryll Butler with husband Donald (Skip) and their three sons, Kevin, Keith and Kris; grandchildren, Chris Long and wife Lacy, Destani Baker and husband Dalton, Mikayla Miller with fiancé Tyler Knowels; great-grandchildren, Memphis Butler, Easton Baker, Chandler Baker and Jason Long; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 from 5p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of McNutt Funeral Home at 1703 Porter Rd. Conroe, Texas 77301. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with the committal to follow at Conroe Memorial Park.
