Richard T. Sears, beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, and teacher peacefully passed away on September 20th at his home in Crosby, Texas at the age of 66. He was surrounded by those who knew and loved him best. His presence will forever be greatly missed but his lessons and laughter will live on always.
He is survived by son Kevin Thomas Sears, daughter Kristen Sears Cudd, daughter-in-law Georgia Sears, son-in-law Dennis Cudd, grandsons Nathan and David Sears, Graham and Silas Cudd, sister Sandra Sears Henrard, brother Robert Sears, many nieces and nephews including Michael and Richard Sears, and countless friends and students.
Memorial service will take place at noon on Saturday, October 3rd at Huffman Church, 25306 FM 2100 in Huffman, Texas.

He was such an incredible man, teacher, mentor, and friend. Our lovely community was touched by his warm heart, enlightened by his lessons, and saddened by his passing. He was loved so deeply by anyone that knew him.
I hope he may finally be able to rest easy, and pain free, now.

It was a pleasure having Mr. Sears as a teacher. I believe there's not one person whom he crossed paths throughout his life that didn't love him. I will miss him. My prayers are with you.
