Rev. Roy L. Hurley

Rev. Roy L. Hurley, age 89 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born October 18, 1928 in Salina, Oklahoma to parents Arthur Gilbert Hurley and Phoeba Alice Cooper Hurley who preceded him in death along with his beloved wife, Frances LaVee Everitt Hurley; daughter, Kimberly Renea Hurley; brothers, Emmett Henry Hurley and Donal Dean Hurley; and nephew, Cole Hurley.

Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Diann Hurley; nieces Terra Everitt Dillon, Tammy Hurley Bowman, and Debbie Hurley Mosley; nephews, Donnie Hurley and Steve Hurley; numerous other relatives and friends.

Rev. Hurley's service will be officiated by Rev. Kevin Howard, Rev. Clark Lott, and Rev. Ronald Culberth. Pallbearers are Donnie Hurley, Steve Hurley, Walter Pleasants, II, Ronnie Brock Pleasants, Robert Gressett, Dexter Mathis, and Logan Wise. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb A. Dillon and Vernon Burks.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at The Sanctuary, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at The Sanctuary, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
