Ruth Arlene Egbert

BATH TOWNSHIP -- Ruth Arlene Egbert, 86, passed away March 18, 2015.

She was born in Breinigsville, Pa. and resided in Bath for the past 55 years. Ruth worked for the BF Goodrich Research Center in Brecksville, going onto a 40 year career in real estate. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she participated in the Women's Group. Ruth was also a member of the Bath Garden Club and also did other volunteer work. She was a very creative person and excelled in a variety of arts and crafts, floral design, and oil painting. Ruth also enjoyed her gardening and caring for the birds.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold and son-in-law, Richard Korzenborn, she is survived by her children, Beth Egbert of Canton, Gail Korzenborn of Doylestown and John (Susan Corsaro) Egbert of Copley; brother, Richard (Eileen) Ely of Wadsworth; and sister, Elinor (Neil) Olken of Cambridge, Mass.; plus many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The family would like to thank her many caregivers, especially Shaina, Judy, Jessica, Jenny, Carly and Tricia.

Friends may call one hour prior to an 11 a.m. Funeral service on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 3852 Everett Rd., P.O. Box 207, Bath, OH 44210, Rev. Jonathan Weaver will be officiating. Interment at West Richfield Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church. Gail, I am so sorry about Ruth. I hope you find comfort in the fact that she is pain free and healthy again. She isn't alone in her journey as I'm sure that she is busy catching up with your dad and Rick. You were a wonderful daughter to her, taking her to the doctor and being her advocate, visiting her and making sure that she was well cared for never needing anything. I hope you find peace knowing you did the best that any child could do for a parent. Find happiness and joy in the memories you shared.
