Barbara, Brandon and Christopher, I just learned of Rick's passing and I am so sorry. I send my sympathys to Pearson and Oleta whom I met only once and to Barbara and family, I remember Rick with great respect as an athlete at SWSC and as a friend through those four tough years. Barbara, I remember yours and Rick's wedding and the fun we had as college friends with you and Rick living off campus in the trailer.

My wife and I worked with Rick while he was Superintendent at Lexington Public Schools. He was a visionary in educational technology and in my estimation always made choices based on what was good for students and the long term finacial health of the school instead of giving in to political demands. Barbara, Brandon and Chris, our prayers are with you. We shall all miss him, but not nearly as much as you.
