To the Philbin Family. We all grew up together with wonderful parents. My father and your father along with other parents in the Bellevue Community set the example and imprint on us to be who we are today. It is a pleasure knowing your father while going to St. Mary's School and playing in Bellevue City Sports with the family.

Joe was known and loved by all! The memories of picnics, the clang of horse shoes in the back yard - they all take me back to a very joyful time. I still miss Kate - and know I will now also ache for Joe's laughter and love.
We continue to pray for the family and friends of this dear man.

It's been many years since I have had contact with anyone from this family but for all of the years I did know you guys I have wonderful memories. Your Mom and Dad were exceptional folks and I was always made welcome by everyone in your large and loving family. So sorry to hear of your loss. As we all age gracefully, it's amazing how many times you find yourself thinking of the times past. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sue Mininni (Campbell)

Uncle Joe - always ready with a joke and a smile to make you feel welcome. I remember picnics at his house, complete with the pony and horseshoes of the in-laws versus the out-laws. Joe ALWAYS won at horseshoes. He helped us all with our cars, and loved to check gas lines with matches. He knew how to fix anything, and was always willing to help.
Joe's laugh was contagious, and he could bring a smile to anyone. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a kind and holy man, and I know he will find true happiness in heaven.
May God bless him and keep him close.

It's not very often that you get to meet a patient who leaves such a lasting imprint on your heart. Joe is definitely one of those special people to me! It was always such a pleasure to walk into his room and have his face light up with a smile and give a wink. It was such an honor to be a part of the team that took care of Joe in the hospital. I'll miss you Joe! God bless you and your family.

Few people cross your path in life and make a powerful impression, Joe was one of those people. It was my pure pleasure to meet him and to take care of him in the hospital. I'll never forget his gentle smile or his winks. Heaven has surely gained a very loving angel with a wonderful sense of humor. God Bless you Joe and your family.
