May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I too am a David Douglas High School '58 classmate with Jerold and I extend my condolence to Alma and Jerry's family and friends; I am posting the following prose I composed years ago to find solace in times of grief:
A Faded Blossom
When one blossom fades away,
another is there to take its place,
the journey of life continues it's
even pace.
And,
so it is with the human soul, when it
leaves the earthly space another
form now takes its place to help
us along our way when sorrow
touches upon our earthly time.
For you see,
The one now gone is not
forgotten, for he is sealed
forever in the memory of
the heart.

Jerold and I attended DDHS together and also worked together for a while at Owen Illinois. He was a nice man with a wonderful smile. May he RIP.
My sympathy to his family.
