Dear Brigitte, Mikala, Alec and family, I just moved back to Florida and heard of your tremendous loss. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Andrew's passing. I will never forget the great love and dedication so very evident between Andrew and Brigitte. I did not know Andrew well but his spirit was so bright and warm that he made an indelible impression on me. My love to you all.

Andrew was the bravest person we ever met. He focused on making the best of his situation and didn't let it define him. He was friendly, personable and a joy to be with. We share your grief Dr. Daisy Merey and family.

He was always kind of "in the background"... consoling, kind, a true friend, never taking sides, encouraging, very smart & most importantly smiling. After 27 years, I remember him & all of the times we shared. To his entire family, I extend my love & prayers. As a mother of 4, I pray that his parents find solace. God bless.

Dear Merey Family,
Our family cannot possibly express the depth of our sympathy and compassion for you in this time of loss. Andrew was a man who demonstrated an incredible strength of will which allowed him to persevere through years of hardship, and that hardship also bred within him a deep and moving wisdom that was far beyond his years. The determination with which he sought to live his life to the fullest was, and always will be, an inspiration.
We will remember him fondly, as a person who absolutely savoured every moment of his life, and sought not to waste his time, but to live it to the fullest.
You are in our thoughts,
Brittany Koehler, on behalf of the Koehler Family
