Daddy thank you for the softball years
And wanting to hold me through my “tears”
There are 3 things that I’ll always regret.
Too many I love you’s that went left unsaid
So many I miss you’s that were thought but not spoken
Not enough Hugs and Kisses on the cheek.
Daddy, thank you for standing by me,
Even if we didn’t agree.
There are three things that I hope you know about me.
How much I love you and always will.
I missed you when you were living so far away.
Your Hugs and Kisses on the cheek always made me feel special.
Daddy, there are so many memories that we share.
Disney, camping, and the “best” fishing trip ever are just a few.
And just knowing that you are my daddy forever.
So here is an “I Miss You!”
A Kiss X
And a Hug O
For the daddy that I Dearly Love

Steve,
I will miss your winning smile and laugh. I will also miss your encouragement. You've left a lot of loved ones behind but we know you are now at peace. I love you.
Your brother, Ernie
