Adell Long Defee
Born Jan. 7,1919, in Bays Chapel, TX, Adell went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus on March 11, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas. Adell, a long time resident of Pasadena, was an active member of Golden Acres, First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband John A Defee, and eldest son,John Richard Defee, parents, George and Alma Long; sisters; Vera Flores, Georgia Sherman, Mattie Ola Parish, twin sister Madell Williams, and brother Gerald Long. Adell is survived by her son Eddy Defee and wife Lori R Winston. Her Grandchildren Daniel Defee and wife,Cheyenne, John William Defee, Dustin Defee, Kristin Defee, Great Grandsons Zander Defee, and soon to be born Maddox. Adell retired from DENKA, Inc. as an Administrative Assistance, and soon after, she and her husband John purchased an R. V., and traveled the Southeastern United States for as long as their health allowed. Following in her twin sister's steps, she discovered a knack, and love for painting, soon filling her house with beautiful landscapes. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a welcoming smile for everyone. Adell was the last of her generation of the Long family. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2015, 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10am at Golden Acres Baptist Church located at 2812 Pansy St. Pasadena TX 77503.
