Gypsy and family, I am sadden to hear of your Mother's death. She was and still is an educator and inspiration to my Mom (and Dad). The reason her teaching continues is because she taught my Mom to sew,(into the second semester, my Mom was asked by Doris to do handwork on Doris' dresses) my Mom taught me and now I'm teaching my granddaughters to sew.My wish is to continue this teaching always with Doris as our inspiration. I will always tell this story!! A side note: My Mom died on Oct. 4th but four years earlier, 2007. Another note: I wrote a letter for Doris' 90th birthday book! Love and prayers to you and yours, Johnnie Wamble Haltom
