Wally and Wynan..So sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet Momma. She was a true lady that was always giving of herself to us kids at the Gongaware house. Her laugh was one of the things I remember most about her...also the time your parents took me boating with them...whether it be that or just sitting under the big shade trees in our front yards on a Sunday afternoon..I have been truly blessed to have known her and your Dad!! God bless ya'll and much love to you and yours!!!

Your mother played a very important part in my life. I graduated from the first graduating class of Sam Rayburn High School. She nurtured me through that difficult year like a second mother. I will always cherish my special year with her.

Wynan and Wally, your mother had the most delightful laugh. She could be heard all over the Rayburn office. Those educators did a fantastic job and truly cared for each other.

Dear Wally and Wynan: My mother, Mary Ann Nowak and your mother were great friends for many years. The last school was Sam Rayburn where not only did they work hard - but had lots of fun as well. At South Houston High School, your mother was my husband's home room teacher as well as his English teacher. And when I turned sixteen it was your mother who pierced my ears! We all have wonderful memories of her and speak of her with fondness.

I knew Mrs. McCaffety, Wally, and Wynan at Queens Intermediate in Pasadena. My mom is from Huntsville, and years later I reconnected with Mrs. McCaffety at the Carriage Inn. She was a lovely person always, so much fun to talk to. I am glad to have known her.
