John Wesley (Wes) White ascended into heaven on September 7, 2011. Wes was born in Pasadena, Texas on January 8, 1961 to Dr. John H. White, M.D. and Elizabeth Myers White. Wes spent all of his life in the Pasadena/Southeast Houston area and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School. He attended San Jacinto College and earned an associate degree in Computer Science.
Wes was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son and friend to many. His contagious smile and happy personality will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Wes was preceded in death by his father, Dr, John H. White, M.D. and his mother, Elizabeth Meyers White. He was survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Dianne Engbrock White, his daughters Dianna Lynn White and Sarah Elizabeth White, Step-Mother Joy Boston White, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Wes was a Christian and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pasadena, Texas where he volunteered as an Usher, and in many other capacities.
Wes' passions were bass fishing and computer games. He was a longtime member of the South Houston chapter of Bass Anglers' Sportsman's Society and was actively involved with several online computer games including World of WarCraft.
A memorial service celebrating Wes's life will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011 in the Chapel at Niday-Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the First United Methodist Church, the Houston branches of the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
