Larry Backhus Obituary
Larry was born on August 27, 1955 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George Backhus and Agnes (Bohuslar) Backhus. He passed-away on January 1, 2021 at home in Conroe at the age of 65. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Agnes Backhus and his sister, Terri Jo Backhus.
Larry is survived by his loving family: Siblings and spouses: George H. Backhus (Ginger), John Backhus (Sandy), Ruth Backhus Anderson, Sherri Jo Backhus, Jim Backhus (Carol); numerous nieces, nephews, other dear relatives, and friends also survive.
Larry was always a source of positivity. He was a kind, caring man who had a compassionate heart and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Larry was also a Conroe High School graduate (class of 1975) and an avid fan of all sports. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his family he leaves behind.
