Marian was such a special lady. It was always fun to visit with her and her smile made it extra special. Stephanie and Emily, I know she loved both of you so much and she was so proud to be your mother. The journey you three are getting ready to go on will be very difficult at times. I pray that through your tears that you all find peace in knowing that you were the best three she could have ordered from our Lord. You will be in my prayers.

Jim told me that Marian "didn't have a mean bone in her body." I said, "I agree... in fact, she was so sweet, her presence made other people nicer."

Stephanie and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. On runs when I could keep up with Stephanie, I often heard stories of her mom, and though I met Marian only once, at Dillard's I think, doing some pre-wedding shopping, I feel as though I knew her from all of the stories Steph shared over many miles. As the shock gives way to grief and sadness I hope for peace to also come to you in the coming weeks and months.

You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mother was a very, very, special lady and I feel honored to have known her.
May God bless you and hold you both close during this most difficult time!

Jim, Stephanie and Emily,
So sorry to hear about Marian. I was an Avon Rep. and met Marian thru Avon. I just remember that she was always one of the sweetest ladies that I met. She was always so proud of you girls and I can remember meeting you all at some time, when you were there. visiting your parents. I know that nothing can replace her love for you all, but just remember to always cherish the beautiful memorries of her. Thinking of you and remembering you im my prayers. Regina Wright

I cherish my childhood memories of time spent with my cousin, Marian. She was sweet, gentle and kind. I was the maverick, boisterous and outspoken. But we had so many good times together, whiling away the hours with our dolls & playing make-believe games while our mothers spent time together doing family things and being close sister-in-laws. Stephanie & Emily, I don't know whether or not your mother ever told you, she had a "special" friend, named Roachy. For real, that was his name, Roachy. Where she got that name is still a mystery. I think I "saw" him once...but his name was enough for me. It's funny that I should remember that now...precious memories.
I know all of you will miss Marion, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. I, too, will miss her. But thankfully she will live on in our hearts. There are beautifuI words in Psalm 30, "Weeping spends the night, but joy comes in the morning." I pray that the day will come soon, when your tears will cease and instead there is nothing but joy, as you remember one of the sweetest persons to ever live, Marian Louise Swanzy.

Jim, Emily and Stephanie...I am so very sorry for your loss. It was such a shock to hear. I was thrilled when she attended the Street Cat Rescue Open house and got to visit with me and my mom Patsy Zemanek Byrd and my sister Debby. Marian was so sweet and made a generous donation in honor of her mother Roselee. I'm so sorry she left this earth too soon....if you need anything - please let me know...
Love, Donna
