A long-time resident of South Houston, Patrick "Pat" Glenn McDowell Jr. passed away at the age of 91, on Friday, February 8 at the Elmcroft Senior Living Center in Texas City. He is survived by his son Patrick III and wife Wendy, daughter Mona Lisa Ott, and son-in-law Jim Clarkson. Pat was predeceased by his wife Jeannie (Beulah Mae) McDowell and son-in-law William Ott. Also survived by his sisters Blanche Vaden, Patsy Sides, and Carol Smith, and brother Robert "Bob" McDowell, as well as eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pat was a WWII Veteran active with VFW Post 9188. He was also a life-long and very active member of the Masonic Lodge #1295. Services were held at South Park Cemetery on Saturday, February 16th at 1:00 p.m.
