Peggy Leopard, 75, of La Porte, Texas passed away on February 17th, 2013. She was born in Henderson, Texas on November 13th, 1937 to Rade and Coystal Snelgrove. She is survived by her husband Horace Leopard, children Amy Lee and husband Russell, Jason Leopard, Lorilee Leopard, and grandchildren Jackson and Kelsey. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church since 1968, the Office Manager at Happy Harbor for over 15 years, and on the Board of Methodist Retirement Centers. Peggy attended Tyler Junior College where she was on the Apache Bell Drill Team. Visitation will be Thursday February 21st, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and the service will be on Friday February 22nd, 2013 at 11:00AM all at the First United Methodist Church of La Porte. A graveside service will be on Saturday Ferbaury 23rd 2013 at 10:00AM in Henderson, Texas.

Peggy was such a special lady. She always greeted us with a warm smile and kind words whether at church, Happy Harbor, or around town. We pray God's comfort surrounds you at this very sad time.
