Sandra Kay Evensen, born May 12, 1945 to Raymond and Juanita Autry Witherspoon in Lodi, California, went to be with her Lord on February 14, 2017 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 71 years.
Sandra loved to quilt and she was a member of the Prayer Quilt Group of The First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas.
Her loving family includes; her beloved husband of 43 years, Asbjorn Evensen; daughters, Julee Eddy & husband, Benjamin, Karena Dawson & husband, Wesley; brother, Phynus Witherspoon & wife, Bobbie; six grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Robert Smith, Rocky Smith, Lucas Houle, Brandon Mutz, Jarred Mutz; four great grandchildren, Aiden Smith, Lucy Smith, Ryan Smith, Mia Smith; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Witherspoon; grandson, Richard Smith.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Celebration of Sandra's Life will begin on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas with Reverend Roger Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas.
