Veronica Dolney Obituary
Veronica Jean Dolney, age 57, passed away 9-20-15 doing what she loved and with whom she loved. Veronica is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John & Phyllis Dolney and Vincent Dolney. She is survived by her sisters and brother Carmen Johnston, Michelle Dolney, Rachael Villegas, Mark Dolney, Yukiko Mattfeld, 10 nephews and nieces and 10 great-nephews and nieces. Veronica was the type of person we all wish we could be but know we cannot. She was generous, kind, loved family friends and life. She saw and did so much with so many, touched so many lives and was always there to help when needed. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2pm at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas 77023. Her celebration of life will follow the services at Rincon Real reception Hall, 8540 Winkler Dr., Houston, Texas 77017 from 3pm to 6pm. Please come share your stories of Veronica. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to make a donation to the American Heart Association in memory of her.

Yukiko, I don't think you remember me from high school but I am so sorry you and your family are having to go through this. The pain is unbearable at this time but I pray, with God's strength, y'all will remember the good times. Stay strong and lean on the everlasting arms of God.

Veronica was such a wonderful person. I loved her sense of humor and the way she always reminded me to keep walking and tracking my steps via Fitbit. I miss passing her in the hallways at work and seeing her gentle smile and nod. She will never know how much she meant to me. Rest In Peace Dear Veronica.
