David Murray Obituary
Endicott - David Edward Murray, 54, of Endicott, NY died in his sleep on July 23, 2021 of natural causes. Born on May 25, 1967 in Endicott, NY, Dave was predeceased by his dad and favorite fishing and hunting partner, Edward Joseph Murray, his grandparents, Bea and Frank Gabriel and Henry and Evelyn Murray, mother-in-law Ethel Bohunicky, and his cousin Cheyenne Ralston. Dave is survived by his mother Sharon Murray and father-in-law Joseph Bohunicky, wife Elaine Murray; daughters Zoe and Kenzie Murray; sisters Susan Murray and Kelly VanDermark (brother-in-law Sherman VanDermark); sisters-in-law Stephanie Taylor (brother-in-law Carl Taylor), Jill Quirico (brother-in-law Kevin Quirico) and Jean Excell (brother-in-law Perry Excell); nephews Ashton VanDermark, Anthony and Nicolas Taylor, and Jake Excell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dave owned Murray's Tile & Marble that he started in 1985 and grew into a thriving, highly reputable and successful business. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, time at his lake house on Owasco lake, walks with his dog Dutch, his weekly outings with friends enjoying golf, dinners, and above all else, time with his daughters - Zoe and Kenzie. Dave had a full and happy life filled with many great friends and colleagues. He treasured the time he experienced with all of them.
Calling hours will be held on 30, July 2021 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell, NY followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the American Heart Association - www.heart.org

We were shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. He redid bathrooms and the kitchen in our home of which we have received many compliments. We will
miss his advice but more his willingness to share a cup of coffee and conversation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family especially his daughters, of which he always spoke with pride.

Dave Murray was the contractor for 2 bathroom renovations to make them fully accessible after my mom's hip replacement surgery. Not only did his crew and office staff do superb work, but Dave was kind enough to visit my mom in the hospital to give her a face to attach to his name. This set her mind at ease while she was going through a lengthy recovery and PT. Dave really went above and beyond in visiting her at a time when his work schedule was very busy, and for working her renovations into his crew's schedule so work would be completed prior to her returning home . Our family will never forget him for his professionalism and these acts of kindness. Our deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved him.

26 years ago today Jay was burned and sent to syracuse to the burn unit It was a terrible winter and I drove up every day One of the nights it snowed so hard I would have spent hours shoveling I woke up to a snow blower and DAVID DOING MY HUG DRIVEWAY i cried He was one of the best men along with his father rest in peace
