Dear Maggie & Mrs. Lowe,
I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Lowe's passing. Although I only met him at our last reunion, he certainly was a jovial and friendly fellow. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Lowe family. I worked with Bill and always remember him as a serious dedicated employee but his smile would always light the place. Again, warmth and peace to the family.

I was so sorry to learn of Mr. Lowe’s passing.
My memories of Bill Lowe, from when we were young and our families did so many activities together, are of his hearty and warm laugh, his joking, great sense of humor and also being very serious and sincere. and the political debates were always fun to listen to.
Now, with my military experience and better appreciation of the ordeal and what it must have meant to be a POW of the Japanese, I have developed an even greater respect and love for him, not only for his sacrifices during WW II, but also his love of life and family, positive attitude, and many activities since, especially religious and veteran related.
I was so thrilled and proud that Mr. Lowe honored Pleasanton, our VFW, and veterans when he agreed to be the Featured Speaker at our 2008 Memorial Day Ceremony, honoring our POW’s and MIA’s. He and Marguerite drove up, all the way from Riverside, to participate in a one hour ceremony. It will be a lasting memory for everyone there.
Kathy, also, really enjoyed visiting the Lowe’s whenever we were in the Riverside area. Yes, Bill will be truly missed by all, and "Mr. Lowe" by me.
Our love, condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the entire Lowe family, and especially to Marguerite, one of the favorite people of my life.

Bill Lowe was a larger-than-life fixture in my childhood, as he was for most of my 8 siblings. He had a laugh heartier than our dad's booming bass and zero tolerance for whining (as befitted a veteran of his WWII experience). Bill was one of my dad's dearest friends. He and his wife Marguerite were among family friends that remained close over the years and he will be missed by the group's survivors. I send greetings and deepest sympathy to the Lowe family from those that remain of mine, including members of my household, D. Calvin Gogerty, my brother Mark Rayman Waggoner and yours truly,
