This news is really tough to digest. He was my friend.
Someone earlier said they are a better person to have known Chris and I think that sums it up very well. I knew him through one of my best HS friends that went to Millersville. I related to him, respected him and looked up to him a lot. RIP Chris.

Dear Fran and George,
Our family will always remember the little guy on our block who tried hard to keep up with the older kids, brother Greg and our sons Marty and Ted. Of course Chris grew up and taught Ray that now Chis was the master of the game of ping pong. About two years ago, we saw Chris playing golf at Flying Hills and we had a nice chat with him. We are sending our love to you from all across the country, as you travel on this most difficult journey.

George, Fran and Greg,
With a very heavy, broken heart I extend my deepest sympathy to you. Chris was such a fun loving guy who made me laugh quite often while at OVES. I will always remember that laugh. We also shared stories about Famie and Irene! Most of all, Chris was such a kind and caring person, giving his heart and soul to the students and faculty here at Oley. I am still in shock! We may never understand the why's and what ifs in this lifetime, but I am certain the Lord is welcoming Chris home to His kingdom. Chris is at peace right now.
I will be praying for the
Lord's comfort and strength for all of you!

Mr, Mrs, and Greg Stofko,
Every memory of Chris makes me smile. Whether he was making jokes sitting behind me in grade school, or up to antics at the stadium as we worked at the Reading Phillies, or dominating in sports, he was a genuinely good, funny guy, just like his father and brother. I know how broken your hearts are and I hope that the love surrounding you and many fond memories Chris somehow get you through the insurmountable grief.
