I am so sorry to hear this news. My condolences to all her family and friends.

I was a 3rd grade student of hers the year Miss Pulcinella was married and became Mrs. Dufrat. In fact, my parents drove me over to the church so I could see Miss Pulcinella before she entered the church and walked down the aisle.

She created such a supportive, warm and encouraging environment in the classroom. Looking back I remember very fondly 3rd grade and my Yalesville School days.

Also, I thought she was so very pretty and a wonderful teacher. Beauty and brains - such a terrific combination in Mrs. Dufrat.

God bless her. May she rest in peace.

I grew up with Jean in the Yale Street section of Meriden. We attended St. Rose School together and graduated from Meriden High School in the great Class of 1954(Always the Best). Jean was part of our St. Rose Posse, a close knit group, who continued our friendships to this day. Jean was an active member of our MHS Class of 1954 Reunion Committee, always there to work so hard to make our many Reunions so memorable!
Jean, you were the best, thank you being a great classmate and friend all these years. "Friends are Forever"! My deepest sympathy to Jean`s Family!
May Jean Pulcinella Dufrat`s Soul rest in God`s eternal peace, she will be missed!
"Remember the Red and Blue"!
With much Love and Peace,
Sincerely,
