Robert J. "Bobby" Williams

1961 - 2016

GRANBURY, TX - Robert J. (Bobby) Williams passed away on October 6, 2016 at Cleburne Hospital as the result of a heart attack.
"Bobby-Joe" was born on June 17th, 1961 in Morrisville, Vermont to Robert E. and Elizabeth M. (Lafoe) Williams.
He grew up in Buckland, Charlemont and Millers Falls and graduated from Franklin County Technical School in 1980, before moving to Texas where he followed his dream of becoming a professional auto mechanic.
He was employed at Iconic Motors in Lewisville, Texas where he enjoyed his work at customizing classic vehicles.
Survivors include his beloved companion, Bernadine Carter, three daughters: Melissa Williams of Wilmington, Vt., Meghan Williams of Eastfield, Ma. and Skylen Williams of Granbury, Tx. He leaves four grandchildren, Makaylah, Landon, Jacob and Averlee.
His mother, Elizabeth M. (Williams) York of Greenfield, Ma. and five siblings also survive him. Rick Williams of Tool, Tx., Fred Williams of Dallas, Tx., Paul Williams of Bernardston, Ma., Juanita Lancaster of Arlington, Tx., and Jennifer Sullivan of Greenfield, Ma.
Additionally he leaves two stepsisters, Melissa Simon of Ca. and Monica James of Texas, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends mourn his loss.
His father Robert E. Williams predeceased him in 2002.
A graveside service and memorial gathering will be held in Texas at the convenience of the family.
