Sammy I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I truly understand the pain and sadness you are going through. You have so many good memories and treasures to remind you of Carol every minute of every day - memories that will make you smile and remember the life and family you made together. Like Mamie said, during our college days together at ECU, we all knew how wonderful it was for Carol when she met Sammy Pugh! It was a blessing. God bless you and yours.

Sammy this is such sad news! My heart goes out to you and your family in this time of loss! I will always remember Carol as that sweet, beautiful, funny roommate of mine in Wilson Dorm at ECU, who was "head over heels" in love with that local boy...Sammy Pugh! What a wonderful life the two of you have shared since those early days! Will try to attach a pic of our final year at ECU in Fletcher Dorm! Such great memories! Much, much love to you and your family! May God Bless You All!
