Mable Boothe Obituary

KINSTON - Mable Bain Boothe, 93, of Kinston and Morehead City died Wednesday evening, Dec. 14, 2005. The service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home on Queen St. in Kinston. The Rev. John Pollock, rector at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Morehead City, will officiate. She had been married to George Watson Boothe for 63 years when he passed in May of 1995. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Bain and Lula Fisher Bain of Radford, Va. Two brothers, Jim Bain and Harry Bain, both of Kinston, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Boothe of Morehead City; and grandchildren, Watson Sutton of Greenville and Brandon Bain Sutton of Morehead City. She is also survived by one of her seven siblings, Ruby Bain Winkle of Riner, Va. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service and a private burial will take place at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Carteret County, PO Box 1619, Morehead City, NC 28557. E-mail the family at [email protected].
