Spring Emma Somsel, 43, Logansport, passed away at 4:37 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo,.
She was born on April 9, 1980 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Randy and Terry Kimler Sr.
Spring grew up in the Chicago area and started working in food service for a company that provided concessions for all of Chicago's professional sports' teams. She enjoyed working all the stadiums in Chicago from Wrigley Field, U.S. Cellular Field, Soldier Stadium and the United Center.
After moving to Indiana, she worked for Walmart and Four County Counseling, both of Logansport. She was a member of the Helm Street Church of God and enjoyed doing diamond art, watching movies, collecting snow globes, her cats White Sox and Sylvester, and being a mom to her son Angelis.
Survivors include her son, Angelis Luciano, Logansport; mother Terry Kimler, Mississippi; siblings Samantha Kimler, Mississippi, Randy Kimler Jr., Peru, Eric Kimler, Wichita, Kan., Tiffany Kimler, Mississippi; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com.

I too met her an Angel at the Y. I really enjoyed spending time with her. Prayers for Angel and all her loved ones. Fly beautiful lady! You will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Spring's passing. First meet her and Angel playing water volleyball at the Cass County Y. We heard from her December 28 and she was looking to get better and back playing with us, she will be missed.
