Jan was aperson who displayed her best no matter what life's challenges were. She lived life beautifully with love for all the things that made life complete: family, friends, her community and gardening. Her wonderful smile, humor and service will be missed by all. God be with each of you now as He was with your Mom through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you.

Jan was one of my first friends when my family moved to Rockton. We volunteered at Rockton Grade School every week helping Mrs. Hanson the nurse. I will miss her smile, laugh, and generous willingness to always help.
Let God surround you during these difficult times.

Jan was a true professional in her trade. She always treated each and every person that called on her services with respect and dignity. She always went out of her way to help the residents of Rockton. She was a wealth of information, a book of all things Rockton that anyone could turn a page and read. What I loved about her was her tenacity. If she didn't know the answer to something, you best be darned tootin' she would find out and get back to you. Jan, you are a gem that will truly be missed. Rest has finally come to you. God's Speed.

Jan will be greatly missed. This was her favorite time of year to plant flowers in her gardening hat. Will miss seeing her riding her bicycle around town and of course at the Village Hall.
