I had the honor of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Mendez 11 years ago. I went to their home weekly to treat some of the many children they have fostered. Mr. Mendez always made jokes, talked about how he met Mary, what he wanted to buy her, how all the kids were doing, of course his vehicles that he would fix up, and how he missed his daughter Mallory. They would even feed me! It was such a pleasure getting to know Mr. Mendez and his family. They will always have a special place in my heart. Im sad he has passed however I know he’s having a good time with his daughter, dad and his other friends and family that have passed before him. God Bless You Mr. Mendez!
