I have know Chip for the last 7 years and we had great times selling Glidden paint at the Home Depot, our greatest honor was flying to Atlanta to present to the Home Depot the Glidden program. I was the only rep picked, but Chip was the main reason I was successful and we talked about that trip all the time. I will miss the lunchs we would have every few months and looked forward to them. Chip, thanks for letting me be your friend!!!!

Chip brought so much joy to all; we know that he did to our lives. It is so hard to understand why that empty chair is there. God must've just wanted that much more joy in heaven. We are so thankful to have known and shared some time with Chip. His life was truly an example for all those who claim the name of Christ. So much laughter seems to have gone from this earth with his passing. Connie, if there is anything we can do to help Chip's "loving bride" please, please call.

To Connie and family,

In the few short years that I knew Chip he became a great part of my life and an extension of my family. Many times we laughed and worked together but a few times we also cried together. He was there for me with the advice of a father and grandfather who had gone through pretty much everything when my son was born, and gave Evie and I kind words of prayer when we were scared of the future. His advice was always accepted, his example will be one to remember. A true gentleman who loved his family, cherished his friends and who brought happiness to those around him. Chip, my dear friend I will miss you and our talks.

My heart goes out to all of you. He was an exceptional person who really cared about all of us. He made all of us feel special and appreciated. He was the best friend that I've ever had or could hope to have. He touched the lives of so many people. Everywhere we went, faces would light up when his friends saw him. I feel blessed to have known him and be counted as his friend.

To Connie and family,

I am saddened to read about Chips death. I remember you, Connie, and Chip as folks who would hang out with Dad and Joan. It was great to see you all together. Please know you and your family will be in my prayer.

I didn't realize how much Chip affected my life until I heard the sad news. He was a ray of sunshine in a sometimes cloudy world. He always treated me with respect and fairness. I always felt like he was sincere and glad to see me. We talked about many things besides work like the fact that he was a drummer like me. He really appreciated the car that his kids got him. I know he loved his " beautiful bride" and was looking forward to enjoying Lawrence Welk Resort for many years. Chip, I can't offer you a cold water anymore you'll have all you need in heaven. My condolences to Connie and his family. Love, Mike Staylor/Valley View Casino
