Joan is still in my thoughts and prayers as are you, her dear family.
Her name is at the top of the scroll in the sanctuary at St. Francis of Assisi church for the month of November. I see it every time I'm in church.

It is the loss of a good and beautiful person that causes us all to mourn and grieve. It is our personal memories of love and laughter, tears and sorrow, that will keep Joan alive in our hearts and minds for each of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Steve, Margaret, Kathryn, Alex, and Emma...prayers of comfort for you and the rest of Joan's extended family and friends. Joan, you will be missed, not forgotten.

Joan was my "adopted" sister through marriage and I truly thank the Lord for her. Her love, kindness, gentleness and selflessness was a blessing to all who knew her.
For Steve, Margaret, Kathryn and Emma we are praying that the Lord will comfort and uphold you in this difficult time. Always remember the promises of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We love you all.

Joan, The quiet doer! Always ready to listen to others needs and respond swiftly with her generous compassionate heart. I know she rests in Our Lord's Arms and may PEACE and JOY be constant companions for Steve and her daughters.

Thank you for sharing Joan with us. I am so glad to have known her. At our last women's retreat, we bunked in the same room. I sat next to her at Sunday mass and I said some silly thing I don't remember that prompted her to say, "I love you, Ramona." I will carry that with me always. She was a jewel here on earth and she is now shining down on us from Heaven. Jack's and my hearts go out to you all.

Joan was one of the most saintly souls I have ever met - her love of God, family and friends, her peace and joy, her kindness, selflessness and generosity, the Fruits of the Holy Spirit beaming forth for all to see. It was my magnificent blessing and privilege to know her. I will always picture dear sweet Joan enveloped in the bright luminous Light of the Blessed Trinity . Now she will be working from heaven for each one and every one of us. Thank you, Precious Lord for the gift and blessing of Joan.
Love, blessings and prayers to her special family.
