Al was my attorney for over twenty years. His advice was always smart, honest, to the point, and right! He threatened, sued, and cajoled people on my behalf. He passed the kleenex when I decided to divorce. When I wanted to help a young student from the then Soviet Union defect, he told me not to do it, but since my mind was made up, he told me how to do it. Al made an lasting impression on me. In tough situations I still ask myself "what would Al tell me to do." He will be missed but always remembered

I received the notice today about the passing of our dear Albert(known to me as the Candy Man). I always looked forward to Albert coming down around 9pm to joke around and he would always give candy to me for he said it kept me sweet, then he would always tell me the saying " Candy is sweet, but liquor is quicker" But, Dale I always had one problem, he would say that he always managed to date women that would out drink him. We would have our laughs, then he'd tell me about his wife. She was the most bueatiful girl he'd ever seen and sooo smart. He'd tell me that his daughter was just like her mother in every way, then he'd tell me about his sons and that his daughter in laws were very pretty women, good wives and excellant mothers. I really loved Albert from the very first day I met him. When I would see Albert coming for dinner I'd leave my desk to make sure he'd have a hug and kiss. Albert just radiated with love and kindness. On my last day of work I gave him a very big hug and kiss and told him this would be the last time I'd see him, Albert said he was sure going to miss me huging him and kissing him, when I told him the other girl would follow through he replied by saying it won't be the same, Dale. Of all the blessings in this world that I have had I count knowing your father as one of the top blessings. God bless his sole and I will never forget the joy and he and his family brought into my life. I will always remember his sweet smile , positive attitude and love for family. My sympathy is with you all at this time. I know Albert will surely be missed, but what memories you must have to help with the sorrow.

We are saddened by the loss of Mo, Tom and Maggie's dad and send our love to the entire Hanan family. We know he will be sorely missed. His infectious smile, his gentle giant ways and the doting he did on his grandkids were always a joy to watch and will long be remembered.

Sorry we won't be able to attend the service on Sunday, but DO know our hearts, love and prayers will be. We love and miss you guys!
