I am forever thankful that Pastor Bessie was there for me at a very difficult crossroads in my life. He prayed and guided me toward the Lord Jesus Christ. I will rejoice to see him again in heaven.

Pastor Bersie was a wonderful man!!! Pastor married my husband and I. We went through sessions with him before our marriage and gave us such good advice. We have been happily married for 37 years. Thank You!!!! I have never forgotten him all these years. Rest in peace Pastor Bersie

What a beautiful tribute. Uncle Dick was a very kind man. I was amazed at how hard he worked to prepare his Sunday sermon (while the rest of us played pinochle!) and the amount of time he dedicated to his church. He also had a great sense of humor. It always brings a smile to my face when I remember our times together throughout the years. My love to all of you.

Uncle Dick was a fun, joyful, loving presence in my family's lives. He had a wonderfully close relationship with my mother, his sister, Mercedes, who preceded his passing in 2013. Your California family sends our love and sympathy to our Washington family, Kristi and Kari and their loved ones.
