March 11, 1925 - December 17, 2017
Betty was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Richmond District, living her adult life in Daly City and Millbrae. She was predeceased by her parents, Max and Jenny Solomon, her siblings and their spouses Marion (Fred) Newman, Ann (Saul) Miller, Sylvia (Roddy) Andrews, Harriet (Jack) Aboudara and David (Vivian) Solomon. She was also predeceased by her husband, Bernard Decter. Betty is survived by her children Barbara Clifford (Francis) and Brad Kearns (Diane), as well as grandchildren Kevin Clifford, Kathryn Knopf (Jordan), Matthew Clifford (Nikki), Kenneth Kearns (Alexandra), Emily Dalske (Dan) and eight great grandchildren that include, the Knopf children -- Connor, Jimmy, Carly; Parker Clifford; the Kearns children -- Brady, Ryan; and the Dalske children -- Kate and Benjamin. She was also survived by her late husband's daughter Darlene Pleger and by numerous nieces and nephews.
